Pre-selling is a technique that uses a website, blog, ppc landing page, sales page, Youtube video, or podcast to introduce the prospect to the product or products that the affiliate is promoting.

One example of this is a Youtube video that announces a new product or service, and directs viewers to a pre-launch signup page.

Another example of this type of marketing is an affiliate review site, where each page contains a user review of one or more products and/or services.  Prospects are much more likely to purchase your top rated product if it accompanies a personal review.
